User survey feedback: 2009
The Improvement Network website was re-launched in August 2008 with an objective to capture an audience beyond local government to include health, police and other LSP partners. The focus on reaching healthcare professionals initially has been supported through the addition of the NHS Institute as a sponsor of the website in 2008.
Thank you to all users who took the time to complete the recent survey, which provided the following feedback on the service.
- 69 per cent of respondents worked in local government, with 17 per cent from the health sector
- 38 per cent are using the site on a monthly basis, predominantly for subject matter expertise, good practice case studies and guidance
- Leadership and Service Improvement are the most popular content themes
- Change Management and Performance Management are the most popular Improvement Tools
- 75 per cent found what they were looking for on the website
- 72 per cent said the information on the website had helped improve performance
- 89 per cent thought the content was up-to-date
- 92 per cent thought the content themes were still relevant
- 84 per cent want the website to continue providing evidence-based learning and good practice captured from field work with public sector bodies
- Overall ratings for the service were 67 per cent 'good' and 17 per cent 'excellent'
- We will be following up with 17 users who offered to provide case studies on the benefits of using the service.
